ABOUT ALYSSA

What began as a childhood love of dance soon evolved into a lifelong passion of musical theatre and performance for Alyssa. Beginning her studies at Randolph College for the Performing Arts, she continues to advance her education as a versatile triple threat with continued training at The Lighthouse Acting Studio and through various classes, courses, and workshops across all disciplines. Alyssa is currently based in Toronto, where she works in theatre, commercials, TV and film.

Her career has taken her across Canada, working in an array of productions spanning cabarets, national commercials, and musicals. Select credits: First Canadian production of Stranger Sings: The Parody Musical, Janet (The Rocky Horror Show), and Swing Gertie (Diamond Tooth Gertie’s). She is committed to continual growth as both an artist and collaborator, always seeking opportunities that challenge and expand her range.

As a choreographer, Alyssa develops original projects that integrate her love of theatre and commercial dance. She currently serves as Head Show Writer and Artistic Director for Studio XIV Dance Co., where she creates and directs dynamic dance concerts for adults.
